Pertinent Policies
PRICE LIST AND COSTING MODEL: WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits course cost is $674, which includes a $50 nonrefundable registration fee, $80 study kit, $180 exam, $25 online examination fee, and $339 tuition.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: Students will be responsible for paying tuition and fees, following all rules and regulations set forth by the catalog of the Southern California School of Whisk(e)y & other spirits (SCSW). Payments should be made by credit card or cash. Exceptions may be made for checks, but enrollment will not be complete until check clears.
REFUNDS & CANCELATIONS: In the event of a cancelation on the part of the school, the student will be refunded all money, including the non-refundable registration fee.
If the student cancels prior to 7 days before the course date begins, they will be refunded all money, except the $50 non-refundable registration fee.
If the student cancels after 7 days before the course date begins, they will be refunded tuition only.
REASONABLE ADJUSTMENTS: Use the Order Notes space on the Checkout page to confidentially disclose any special educational needs or disabilities which might require reasonable adjustments during the course and examination.
PREREQUISITES: Students must be at least 21 years old. Level 2 requires some base knowledge as a prerequisite. This can be accomplished by taking our Spirits sequence through vomFASS, achieving a WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits, or submitting a letter of reference from a spirits trade professional on company letterhead stating: 1) the student is known to the reference personally, 2) the reference can vouch for the student’s base knowledge in spirits, and 3) the reference believes the student can succeed in the Level 2 course without completing one of the two prerequisite options above.
